What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us:

• Launch-list sign-up: your email address and your city (or the city you'd like updates about).
• Business interest registration: your business name, your name, your email address or WhatsApp number, your category, your website (if provided), your city (if outside Amsterdam) and your consent.
• Technical records kept with each submission for security and evidence: the date and time, and standard connection details such as your IP address and browser type.

Why we use your details

• To send launch updates, if you joined the launch list. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To respond to your registration of interest and, if we both wish to proceed, to start onboarding. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To keep the website secure and to prevent misuse of our forms. We rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the service.

We will only contact you about Gappic itself. We never sell your details, and we never share them with other companies for their own marketing.

How long we keep your details

We keep launch-list details until you ask us to remove them or you unsubscribe, and business-interest details for as long as needed to discuss working together and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. We review and delete details that are no longer needed.

Who can see your details

Only people working for and with Gappic. We use trusted service providers to run this website and to store and send data (for example, hosting and email delivery). They process details only on our instructions. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK or European Economic Area; where that happens, we use recognised safeguards to protect it.

Cookies

This website uses only essential cookies needed to make it work securely. We do not use advertising or tracking technologies, and we do not follow you around the internet.

Your rights

You have the right to: get a copy of the details we hold about you; have incorrect details corrected; have your details deleted; restrict or object to how we use them; withdraw your consent at any time; and receive your details in a portable format where that applies.

To use any of these rights, email hello@gappic.com. We will respond within one month. You are never required to pay for this, and withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or, if you live in the European Economic Area, to your local data protection authority.

Security

Your details are stored securely and access is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your details.

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, we will publish the new version here. If the change affects how we use details you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
